Texas-bred contemporary urban artist Carsn. Enters 2023 in style with two singles “General Gentleman” and “Rip Away.” His incredible versatility is simply jaw dropping, as he excels both in the more singing segments of his tracks and in the fast-rapping parts. While few of his peers master both ends of the spectrum as good as he does, his approach is inspiring, especially if we also take into account the rich soundscapes he created for both of his new singles.
Speaking about “RIP Away,” he shares: “The main inspiration for this one was about a recent breakup, and it’s about moving on from a bad situation and finding better things/people out there in the world. Hence, ‘Rip Away’ as in I was ripping away the bandage of the past and all the bad that came with it, and on the other side the sun shines brighter.”
The talented young artist is about to unveil a new collection of tracks under the EP titled Mixed Emotions, about which he has shared a few words, saying: “This album is some of my best work yet, and I cannot wait to share these sounds with the world.”
