Angine de Poitrine Expand North American Tour Following ‘Vol. II’ Success

The monochrome pointillism duo Angine de Poitrine has officially expanded its North American live itinerary. Driven by overwhelming demand and fervent fan reception following the April release of their second studio LP, Vol. II, the ensemble has added five summer performances and 10 new dates throughout November to their already extensive global tour.

According to the group’s latest announcement, the newly added summer run includes a stop at Base31 in Picton, Ontario, on June 26. As the season progresses, the duo will bring their signature sound to Denver’s Ogden Theatre on August 13, followed by a performance at Vancouver’s Commodore Ballroom on August 25. The band will also make appearances at the Levitation festival in Austin, Texas, on September 12, and at The Lincoln Theatre in Washington, D.C., shortly thereafter.

The fall leg of the tour highlights the duo’s commitment to delivering their unique brand of instrumental repartee to major markets. They are scheduled for two nights at Brooklyn Steel in Brooklyn, N.Y., on November 16 and 17. The tour then moves to Boston’s Royale on November 19, followed by a performance at Philadelphia’s Franklin Music Hall on November 20.

The band’s Southern itinerary includes a show at Atlanta’s The Masquerade, followed by an appearance at Nashville’s Brooklyn Bowl on November 27. The final stretch of the year will see the group perform at First Avenue in Minneapolis on December 2, before concluding their North American run on the West Coast. The tour wraps up with performances at The Wiltern in Los Angeles on December 4, the Fox Theatre in Oakland on December 8, and a final show at Portland’s Crystal Ballroom on December 11.

Angine de Poitrine continues to earn acclaim for their ability to create a sense of sonic hypnotism, characterized by tactful riffs, rhythmic grooves, and precise time shifts. Their latest albums, Vol. I and Vol. II, are currently available on CD and vinyl. For complete tour details and ticket information, fans are encouraged to visit the band’s official website.
