Some readers might be surprised to find out that Brian Ligon is not only a jazz musician but also a dentist and a former basketball player who excelled in all three of these fields thanks to determination and hard work. The artist taught himself production and started taking serious steps toward his career, receiving a degree in Recording Industry Studies in 2007 from Butler University. He continued his musical journey, doing an internship with Big3 Studios under the guidance of Jim “Pinky” Beeman, slowly building up his network.
