Last night, August 29, Billie Eilish took the stage for an intimate night of music at the Electric Ballroom in London. During the concert, the “TV” singer brought out unbilled guests and members of boygenius, Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers and Lucy Dacus for a collective take on “When The Party’s Over,” a song that initially appeared at Eilish’s 2019 LP, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?

The aforementioned concert was first announced on Saturday, August 26, as a surprise show tacked on after Eilish’s Leeds Festival appearance. Once tickets went on sale, they sold out almost instantaneously, with fans camping out overnight in anticipation of the forthcoming performance.

After running through select material, Eilish delivered a shortened a cappella take on “My Boy” and followed up with brief cuts of “Bellyache” and “Ocean Eyes,” she brought out Labrinth for his song “Never Feel So Alone.” The track was released earlier this year and features Eilish, making it a fitting choice given the show’s location was in the English singer, songwriter, and record producer’s hometown.

To follow, Eilish welcomed Baker, Bridgers, and Ducas to the stage for a collaborative take on “When The Party’s Over.” Fan video captured the four musical powerhouses singing the emotive lyrics, with light support from the backing band, for the purpose of letting each and every participant’s vocals serve as the compositional centerpiece.
