Today, Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros announced they’ll perform over five nights this winter at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y., on Dec. 12, 13, 15, 16 and 17. The ensemble–led by Weir alongside Don Was, Jay Lane, Jeff Chimenti and Barry Sless–will also feature The Wolfpack.
In a statement shared with Billboard, Weir shared, “Well OK, looks like we’re back at the Cap for five nights this time around in December; this is gonna be big fun. We’re gonna get a chance to get to most everything in the songbook – and maybe see if a couple folks are willing to make the hr-or-so trip outta the city to join us.”
Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros are currently on their Fall 2023 tour. Before their residency at the beloved theatre, they’ll be performing with the Stanford Symphony Orchestra at the Frost Amphitheatre in Stanford, Calif., on Oct. 29. After what is sure to be unforgettable appearances at The Capitol Theatre and in California, they’ll set out for their recently announced New Year’s shows at the Broward Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on Dec. 29, 30 and New Year’s Eve show on Dec. 31. Notably, the final show will have a theme based on the Year of the Dragon.
Additionally, shortly after the start of the New Year, the band will migrate south for Playa Luna Presents Dead Ahead, an all-inclusive vacation experience in Riviera Cancún, Mexico, on Jan. 12-15, 2024. The beachside event will celebrate the Grateful Dead songbook featuring two nights of curated collaborations themed “Dead Ahead” and one night of Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros featuring The Wolfpack and more.
Artist presale for The Capitol Theatre residency begins on Thursday, Sept. 28 at 10 a.m. ET, with a local presale beginning that day at 12 p.m. ET. Sign up for early access to tickets here.
Fans can also enjoy The Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros Enhanced Experience, which includes early venue entrance and merchandise shopping, access to watch a portion of soundcheck, a complimentary cocktail and exclusive merchandise – packages will go on sale Sept. 28 at 10 a.m. ET. General on-sale begins Friday, Sept. 29 at 10 a.m. ET.
