After being indicted by a grand jury on June 16, Quando Rondo has been facing multiple felony charges. The 49-count indictment includes charges such as managing a street gang, conspiracy to distribute marijuana, and conspiracy to purchase opioid hydrocodone pills. These allegations place the Savannah rapper in significant legal jeopardy.

Granting of Bond & Conditions

Chatham County Superior Court Judge Tammy Stokes granted Quando Rondo a $100,000 bond, enabling his release from custody. The bond payment on June 26 allows the rapper to await further legal proceedings outside the jail.

However, specific conditions are attached to his release, designed to ensure compliance with legal requirements and public safety.

As part of his release, Quando Rondo is obligated to surrender his passport and refrain from contact with his co-defendants. Additionally, he must not possess or carry firearms, abstain from using illegal drugs, waive extradition, and attend all court hearings related to his case.

The rapper will not face a curfew or be placed on house arrest.

With four felony charges, including a violation of the street gang terrorism and prevention act, looming over him, Quando Rondo’s legal situation remains complex and uncertain. The indictment and subsequent bond release mark critical stages in the legal proceedings, and the rapper’s future will depend on the outcomes of his upcoming court hearings.
