Justin Timberlake and Timbaland have joined forces once again. This time, they are teaming up with the NFL and ESPN to provide theme music for Monday Night Football

Reunited & It Feels So Good

Justin Timberlake and Timbaland, the dynamic duo behind hits like “Sexy Back” and “Cry Me A River,” are reuniting to team up with NFL and ESPN to provide the theme music for Monday Night Football. Throughout the 2023-24 NFL season, the duo will curate music for select Monday Night Football games. 

Their music will be featured in promotional spots, live telecasts, and pre-shows for several games this upcoming season. Timberlake, a member and equity holder of Timbaland’s music creator platform Beatclub, will have the support of its users and A&R members in creating music for the season. 

New Music x NFL

The regular season games that will feature Timberlake and Timbaland’s music include matchups between the Buffalo Bills and the New York Jets on Sept. 11, the Dallas Cowboys and the Los Angeles Chargers on Oct. 16, the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs on Nov. 20, and the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers on Dec. 25. 

Additionally, there will be playoff  games in January 2024 that are yet to be determined.

But the collaboration continues beyond there. For the first game, Timberlake and Timbaland will release a new single featuring Canadian singer Nelly Furtado titled “Keep Going Up.” This track will be played during the promotional spot for the Week 1 matchup between the Buffalo Bills and the New York Jets

The iconic trio has a history of working together, including their collaboration on the “Give It To Me” hit song in 2007. Their reunion will reach a national audience as they bring their talents to the country’s most popular sports league. 

Timbaland Set To Launch AI Startup

In other news, Timbaland has plans to launch an AI startup for late artists to continue creating music. He aims to empower producers and music executives to own voice filters of late artists, allowing them to generate income even after their passing. 

50 Cent’s Sire Spirits Teams Up With The Washington Commanders

In another NFL partnership with an artist, 50 Cent has teamed up with the Washington Commanders. The rapper’s cognac company, Sire Spirits, will be the team’s official cognac, and Le Chemin Du Roi will be the team’s official champagne.
