On August 11, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony will receive the ultimate recognition in their hometown as a street is renamed in their honor. The street renaming ceremony will be at the intersection of East 99th Street and St. Clair Avenue and will be officially designated as “Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Way.”
“Double Glock”
Group member Krayzie Bone reminisced about their experiences growing up on that street. He mentioned their adventures and troubles, highlighting the significance of their connection to the location.
“Growing up on that street was crazy,” he said. “We had many, many adventures on that street. We got in so much trouble. Our street was 99th and St. Clair, but we renamed our street because of the two nine, the 99, we called it ‘Double Glock.”
The group chose to rename their street “Double Glock” due to the significance of the number 99, representing their distinctive identity.

The decision to rename the street reflects the group’s impact on the local community and their status as Cleveland legends.
