TchiTchi Finds Strength in Loyalty on the Reflective New Single “Irmãos”

For an artist still at the beginning of his career, TchiTchi is already writing from a place of lived experience. His new single “Irmãos” feels grounded in memory, loyalty, and the kind of bonds that form long before success becomes part of the story.

Released on February 28, the Portuguese-language track explores brotherhood through quiet reflection rather than dramatic gestures. The title translates to “Brothers,” and the song unfolds like a personal letter to the people who stood beside him during uncertain years.

“Brothers in the storm, brothers in the rain…
Rolling through the night, same street, same curve…”

The lyrics carry a sense of movement and perseverance, painting snapshots of youth, late nights, and shared struggles. TchiTchi keeps the delivery measured, letting the emotion come through naturally while the production holds a steady rhythm underneath.

The track arrives after “Luxury Nights,” a song built around nightlife energy and celebration. “Irmãos” shifts the focus inward, reflecting on responsibility and the memories that stay with you as life moves forward.

TchiTchi’s background shapes the sound as much as the story. Born and raised in Oslo with Cape Verdean roots, he moves easily between languages and musical influences. Afrobeat grooves, pop melodies, and subtle electronic elements blend together, forming a style that mirrors his multicultural upbringing.

“I wrote this song for my brothers and my family first,” he explains. “But it’s for anyone who knows what it means to fall, get back up, and have someone standing with you every time.”

The track will appear on the upcoming deluxe edition of his debut album Kings Will Dream, serving as a bridge toward his next project, Dyslexia. If “Irmãos” offers any clue about what lies ahead, TchiTchi is settling into an artistic lane defined by reflection, identity, and connection.
