Public Circuit Unveil ‘Modern Church r//mix//s’ Remix Album

New York City electronic trio Public Circuit have officially released Modern Church r//mix//s, a comprehensive reimagining of their latest studio album. The project serves as a collaborative celebration, drawing in a diverse array of friends and heavyweights from the Brooklyn music scene to reinterpret the band’s signature sound.

The remix album features contributions from notable artists including Lip Critic, shower curtain, Grumpy, The Wants, smush, ideasforconversations, and Crate. This release follows a busy period for the trio, which included a 2025 tour across the US and Europe, as well as a high-profile opening slot for LCD Soundsystem at their renowned Knockdown Centre residency.

Reflecting on the project, the band stated, “We wanted to put out the remixes to not only highlight all our amazing friends who make amazing music, but also to revive these songs into all the different worlds we believe they belong to exist in.”

Vocalist Ethan Biamont added, “This album is a representation of the music and people that I love and am inspired by in Brooklyn. All of these acts push their respective genres forward and that’s awesome, but we need to remember what it’s all about: loving electronic music.”
