Ladies and gentlemen… The Rolling Stones. After much anticipation, the beloved British rock group has mapped out their spring and summer plans. The ensemble shared that they will serve as headliners for this interaction of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on Thursday, May 2. They also delivered a fully-fledged stadium tour outline consisting of mostly U.S. dates.

“‘The Rolling Stones at Jazz Fest’ is a long-held prophecy coming true. The Festival thanks Mick, Keith, Ronnie and Concerts West for their steadfast dedication to making this once-in-a-lifetime Jazz Fest magic. The pilgrimage starts today, come get satisfied,” offered Quint Davis, Producer/Director of Jazz Fest.

Having formed in 1962, The Rolling Stones solidified their sound as a fixture of the rock scene; from popular hits like “Start Me Up,” “Gimme Shelter,” “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” and “Satisfaction,” members Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood, have entertained generations of fans with lively on-stage performances, and via their rich blend soulful rock music.

Today’s news brings a long-held hope to light since the band has attempted to fill the headlining role three times prior. While 2024 represents success for the desired outcome, fans of the annual Crescent City event will have to wait a little longer to learn about other musical guests participating in Jazz Fest. The complete music lineup for the 2024 Jazz Fest will be announced in January.

Apart from their festival appearance, The Rolling Stones also mapped out their U.S. stadium tour dates, slated to begin on April 28 at Houston’s NRG Stadium. Following their stand at Jazz Fest, the group will travel to Glendale, Ariz., where they will play at State Farm Stadium on May 7. On May 11, they will arrive in Sin City for a night at Allegiant Stadium.

The Rolling Stones’ summer dates will take them to Seattle next before jumping coast for a tight series of East Coast gigs slated for East Rutherford, N.J., and Foxboro, Mass. The band will pop down to Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla., on June 3, following up with an Atlanta date on June 7.

The band will pop up to Philadelphia next, eventually meandering to Cleveland on June 15. The Roling Stones will perform at Denver’s Empower Field at Mile High on June 20 and Chicago’s Soldier Field on June 27. They will make a lone Canadian appearance in Vancouver, B.C., followed by a jaunt down to the coast for a pair of final dates slated for California.
