Yibby burst out of the gates quicker than most with his debut single Woah late last year, and he’s now built on that with his soulful sophomore effort Talk, featuring Prince J.
Yibby’s sound feels like a cut of Joey Bada$$ with a dash of soul, and we’re more than here for it, with Talk announcing Yibby as not just a newcomer – or an up-and-comer – but an artist that’s well and truly here to stay.
“The hook while it comes across as confronting someone else on what they’re saying, it’s really me checking myself as to how authentic I’m being,” says Yibby on the self-reflective new hit.
