Offset’s Moves Shine In ‘FAN’ Video & Reveals Album ‘SET IT OFF’ Release Date

Offset has released the official video for his new single, titled “FAN.” The former Migos rapper showcased his fire dance moves, while paying homage to the iconic Michael Jackson. Offset also unveiled the release date for his highly anticipated album, SET IT OFF.

A Huge ‘FAN’ Of The King Of Pop

At midnight on Friday, September 15, Offset released the official video for his new single, titled “FAN.” 

During the music video, the “Ric Flair” rapper donned several iconic Michael Jackson outfits, including the white suit from Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal,” as well as the memorable attire from “Thriller,” such as the red and yellow letterman jacket and the red and black leather jacket paired with red pants. 

The Georgia native even featured Power Book ll actress Paige Hurd as his co-star during the “Thriller” scenes, where they were seen strolling down the street together, reenacting the famous movie theater scene, and eventually transforming into zombies and werewolves.

Starting A Riot

Additionally, Offset also included influencer and streamer Kai Cenat in his latest project, drawing attention to a significant incident involving Cenat. On August 4, Cenat found himself in legal trouble when he was arrested following a riot in Union Square, New York City, which had erupted due to his fans gathering for a PS5 giveaway event. 

Following the release of his music video, the rapper received great feedback from fans. One fan wrote, “Offset is a DANCER. What an artist paying homage to the greatest of all time.” Another fan also wrote, “Man Offset really went HARD on this one. I’m living for all the Michael Jackson references.”

‘SET IT OFF’

Furthermore, Offset also took to his Instagram and dropped the cover art and release date for his upcoming album, SET IT OFF. The album is set to be released on Friday, October 13. The “54321” rapper wrote:

“SET IT OFF – The Album 10/13 Pre-save link in bio”. The cover art showcases Offset in an inspired look by the 1983 Billie Jean look of Michael Jackson, as he is seen in front of a burning city upside down. Fans are also anticipating the release of his album, where one fan wrote “yeah Offset is definitely cooking up something great. his new single fan was great and this album cover fire. he’s got my attention.”

This isn’t the first instance where the “Clout” rapper, has paid homage to legendary figures. Recently, he recreated the iconic 1988 James Brown CNN interview, with the participation of actress Jamie Lee Curtis, generating buzz for his release.
