Judge Grants DaBaby’s Request To Delay Assault Trial Until October

DaBaby’s assault trial was delayed after a Los Angeles court judge granted the request and moved the trial to Oct. 23. The rapper was charged with a felony after a fight with Gary Pagar in April 2022.

DaBaby Gets A New Trial Date

DaBaby and his legal team were granted a new trial date for Oct. 23 by a judge at the Los Angeles Superior Court. The trial was for an assault case that landed him in jail after he got into a physical altercation with a man named Gary Pagar, who rented his home to DaBaby in an agreement.

This follows months after the North Carolina native recently caught some breaks in court on legal charges after a year of controversies.

The Assault Case

The fight between DaBaby and Pagar started after the “Suge” artist violated the agreement on not having more than twelve people at the house. The Charlotte artist shot a music video and ended up with over 40 people when Pagar arrived.

DaBaby Wins Lawsuit

Recently, DaBaby received good news after winning his trial over an event payment dispute that ended in a brawl with a promoter. The Charlotte rapper’s criminal battery charge was dropped along with the victory.
