Jeida Woods: dark, soulful and ominous

Jeida Woods: dark, soulful and ominous

Jeida Woods is the latest songwriter, producer and unbelievably exciting talent to come out of the cultural melting pot that is South West Sydney; by way of Zambia.

After signing to Future Classic in 2019, Jeida quickly released two records to a resounding response, however, the 21-year-old then took some time to refine the music that was to come next – and damn… that music is something else.

Co-produced by Lucianblomkamp (6LACK, Khalid) and Jeida himself, ‘Chemicals‘ is the dour, gloomy new R&B offering that stretches its sound far beyond Australia’s borders.

With an EP in the works – and impending stardom – we took the time to get to know Woods a little bit more with some quickfire questions.
