HP Boyz release inspiring debut EP ‘6 To The World’

HP Boyz have released their debut project, with the 6-track EP “6 To The World” dropping independently last Friday.

Featuring production from Jack Marlow and Chek Beats (among others), the short but sweet EP clocks in just shy of 20 minutes, and was released exactly 12 months to the day since their emphatic breakthrough single, “Blueprint” was released.

Following the release of singles “Eeny Meeny” and “Out Here”, HP Boyz released their highly anticipated debut project to a resounding response online, competing with some of the worlds biggest artists on Australia’s iTunes charts, as well as finding their EP featured on a mass of curated playlists across Apple Music and Spotify.

South East Melbourne’s HP Boyz have broken down numerous barriers and perceived glass-ceilings with their infectious and unique sound going worldwide from their Hampton Park roots inside the last 12 months.

Made up of the polific trio of Onit, YJ and Mwayz on the mic, the chemistry between the three is clear for all to see as they have carved out a lane and sonic for themselves over carefully selected, complimentary beats.

Their debut track “Blueprint” took Australia, New Zealand – and the world – by storm back in May of 2019, and while the breath of fresh air that was “Blueprint” was significant, it was followed up with the epic anthem – and the crew’s biggest hit to date – “Engineers” in early August.

Proving that they are anything but a two-hit wonder but instead a group here to say, HP Boyz released “Bad N Bouj” recently to make it three from three which was a surprise to no one. An obvious play and reinterpretation in part on the popular track from Migos, HP Boyz were sure to leave their own mark on the phrase with a stellar lyrically intertwined offering against the visual backdrop of their home city.

Having played sold out shows throughout Australia and New Zeland, expect to see HP Boyz continue to take their unique sound and brand worldwide over the coming months as they take the “6 To The World”.

Our pick from the EP would have to be the uplifting victory lap (and title track), 6 To The World.
