6ix9ine’s arrest in the Dominican Republic made headlines as he faced allegations of assaulting music producers. While he faces legal consequences, an additional suspect remains unnamed in the case.
The Incident
On Sunday night of October 15, after arriving at the recording studio, 6ix9ine reportedly became jealous and aggressive towards the music producers, spending time with his girlfriend, Yailin La Más Viral.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the two producers, Cristian Anthony Rojas and Nelson Alfonso Hilario García, accused the rapper of physically assaulting them, with one victim even requiring surgery to repair his injured jaw.
6ix9ine Abandons Flight
The “GUMMO” rapper attempted to flee the country on a chartered flight but was prohibited when the charter company followed protocol and discovered the arrest warrant.
As a result, the rapper had to abandon his plan to leave the Dominican Republic.
The Dominican Republic police have disclosed an additional arrest warrant for another suspect involved in the incident, although the individual’s identity remains undisclosed at this time.
The arrest in the Dominican Republic is just the latest in a series of legal troubles for 6ix9ine. In August 2023, he was arrested in Florida for a traffic violation and failure to appear in court.
Additionally, the rapper recently became embroiled in a “vape wars” lawsuit between two vape companies he had collaborated with, and he addressed accusations of paying Kodak Black $1 million for the collaboration song, “Shaka Laka.”
