Pure Imagination has shared its artist lineup for the 2023 festival, which will take place on May 20 in Prescott, Ariz. After a successful inaugural year in 2022, the female-founded jubilee will return to Watson Lake for the second time for a day of live music.
This year’s bill includes artists from multiple genres and will boast headlining performances from Ziggy Marley as well as Lucinda Williams and her band. Allison Russell will also take the stage, along with pop duo Capital Cities. Other esteemed artists on the lineup include southern alternative rap outfit Nappy Roots, singer-songwriter Brandy Clark and blues-rock guitarist Jarod James Nichols and more.
In addition to the live music, Pure Imagination will offer a wide variety of outdoor art experiences for all ages. Festival-goers can catch performances from the Hopi Water Clan Dance Troupe, as well as displays by local aerialists and stilt-walkers. Attendees can find interactive exhibitions at Pure Imagination’s “Art Alley,” and younger fans can enjoy a designated kiddie jam zone. Food will be catered by tapas joint Al Gato Azul and a local medspa will be on-site with a beauty bar.
VIP, General Admission, and on-site camping passes are on sale now and can be purchased here. A portion of ticket proceeds will be donated to the Flying Horse Foundation, which supports art and music in multicultural spaces.
