Green River Festival has announced its preliminary artist lineup for its 2024 gathering. The annual event will once again take place at Franklin County Fairgrounds in Greenfield, Mass., occurring over three days, June 21, 22, and 23, in celebration of its 38th musical experience.
Taking part in the impending event are celebrated acts such as “Short Skirt/ Long Jacket” originators, CAKE. Moreover, Indie-folk favorites Fleet Foxes are also present on the upcoming festival bill, in addition to acclaimed singer-songwriter Gregory Alan Isakov.
The 2024 artist lineup goes on to include Joy Oladokun, Mdou Moctar, DakhaBrakha, S.G. Goodman, Margo Cilker, Oh He Dead, and Lola Kirke, who will perform across three stages during the aforementioned three-day time slot.
The event originated in 1986 at Greenfield Community College as two separate events held just a week apart. Following its 5th year celebration, which featured appearances from NRBQ and 10,000 Maniacs, the occasion merged into one full-fledged experience the following year and taking on its current title: Green River Festival.
A limited amount of specially-priced 3-Day Passes are on sale now at greenriverfestival.com. The full artist lineup will be announced in early 2024, when single-day tickets, parking passes, camping passes and VIP add-ons will also be available.
