DOSS Announce Self-Titled EP and Share New Single ‘BIGFELLAFUNK’

Scottish electronic/post-punk newcomers DOSS have announced their self-titled DOSS EP, set for release on 29 May via Alcopop! Records. To celebrate the announcement, the duo has shared their raucous new single, ‘BIGFELLAFUNK’.

Serving as the follow-up to their lead single ‘SUPERSECRETAGENT’, the forthcoming EP promises to showcase the band’s abrasive sound and biting Glaswegian wit. By blending sharp social commentary with distorted bass, fractured electronics, and heavy rhythms, DOSS has already garnered significant attention from outlets like The Line Of Best Fit and Rough Trade, alongside radio support from BBC 6 Music and KEXP.

Discussing the inspiration behind ‘BIGFELLAFUNK’, the band described the track as:

“Deranged funk. Slick, polished, and smooth on the surface, but cracking underneath. A portrait of yuppies, lawmakers, and deal-makers who appear in control while quietly imploding. The higher up the food chain, the darker the skeletons. American Psycho meets Bad Lieutenant.”
