Atlanta’s rap scene is facing another shocking development as FN DaDealer, a young rapper signed to Young Thug’s YSL Records, has been taken into custody and charged with murder. The arrest was made with the assistance of the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office, and the YSL rapper is now facing serious charges, including felony murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
Alleged Involvement In Fatal Shooting
FN DaDealer, whose real name is Jakobe Moody, has been arrested and charged with murder in connection to a fatal shooting. The incident occurred on June 5 at the Columbia at Mechanicsville Cross Apartments in Atlanta. According to authorities, FN DaDealer is believed to have been involved in the shooting that claimed the life of a 28-year-old victim.
Two unidentified males approached the victim while he was inside his car and fired multiple shots before fleeing the scene in a black Dodge Charger without a license plate.
Arrest & Charges
FN DaDealer’s arrest was made on June 29 with the assistance of the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office. He is now facing serious charges, including felony murder and possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of certain felonies. The arrest marks a significant development in the investigation of the fatal shooting. The authorities are actively searching for the remaining suspects involved in the incident.
It is essential to clarify that FN DaDealer’s arrest concerning the June shooting at the Atlanta apartment complex is separate from the ongoing YSL RICO trial. FN DaDealer is associated with Young Thug’s YSL Records but is not among the defendants listed in the trial. The authorities treat his arrest as a separate case related to his alleged involvement in the fatal shooting.
In a recent incident involving Young Thug’s circle, his brother UNFOONK was arrested on gun charges. UNFOONK, who shares an association with YSL Records, was recently handed a 9-year sentence concerning the charges.
YNW Melly Double Murder Trial
Another rapper currently facing legal proceedings is YNW Melly, who is on trial for the alleged murder of his two best friends in 2018. The trial is underway, and YNW Melly could face the death penalty if convicted.
