Travis Scott Investigated For Assault

The “Sicko Mode” artist has been named a suspect in an assault charge in New York for allegedly punching an unidentified man in the face and causing $12K in damages to equipment such as speakers and the video screen.

Police are going to review the video of the alleged assault to see what led up to the situation before the public gets access to it. Travis Scott’s legal representative Ted Anastasiou said his client, Scott, was at the venue to do a surprise DJ set at the Nebula venue and the situation was all a cash grab.

Another member of Scott’s legal team attorney Mitchell Schuster also cleared the air on the situation and said it was a misunderstanding.

“While this clearly a misunderstanding being blown out of proportion by clickbait and misinformation, Schuster said. “We are actively working with the venue and law enforcement to resolve and set the record straight. We are confident our client will be clear of any wrongdoing.”

There’s Footage Of The Incident?

As of now, there weren’t details on what started the argument between Scott and the unidentified man.

Police are expected to review the video of the alleged assault. No word yet on how this will affect the chances of the “Goosebumps” artist being in the lineup at the upcoming Rolling Loud California festival which he is slated to headline on March 4th.

The assault occurred at an event where the rapper was brought out to perform at a live show by Don Toliver,  an artist from his label Cactus Jack Records, in New York.
