Mill Valley Music Festival has unveiled the artist lineup for the 2023 iteration of the two-day event, slated for May 13 and 14 at Friends Field in Mill Valley, Calif. This year’s multi-genre bill boasts appearances by Michael Franti & Spearhead and CAKE, who will act as headliners.
Former Talking Heads members Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew will also take the main stage with a special Remain in Light revival set. Other artists scheduled to perform include Tank and the Bangas, Durand Jones, The Dip, Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears, Valarie June, Orchestra Gold and The Alive.
“This new group of performers is sure to not only leave a longstanding impression on festival attendees but will also entice new travelers to visit our incredible community. Come springtime, we hope the whole Bay Area will make a weekend trip to explore and see for themselves what makes Mill Valley such a special and unique place. As an organization, we continue to champion our community’s multi-faceted arts & culture, while creating innovative opportunities to connect people,” offered Jim Welte, director of the Mill Valley Chamber.
This is the second iteration of the boutique Bay Area music festival, following a sold-out single-day event in 2022. Live music will be accompanied by local food and beverage vendors, immersive art installations and plenty of family-friendly outdoor activities.
Tickets are available now on the festival website. See the complete artist lineup below.
