Three men have been arrested after brutally assaulting rapper 6ix9ine at a South Florida LA Fitness in early March. All three suspects were booked into the Palm County jail on March 30.

Three suspects have been arrested for assaulting and robbing Brooklyn rapper 6ix9ine at an LA Fitness in Lake Worth, Fla., according to a TMZ report.
The three suspects arrested, Rafael Medina, Octavious Medina, and Anthony Maldonado, were booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on March 30.
The arrest of the three men comes less than two weeks after the assault of the “TROLLZ” rapper. The attackers’ motives have not been confirmed.
6ix9ine Jumped At Florida Gym; Twitter Reacts
6ix9ine was brutally assaulted in a video by a couple of men at a gym in South Florida on March 21. The aftermath from the video left 6ix9ine injured and the brunt of jokes on Twitter.
The Brooklyn rapper was the target of an assault by a group of men at an LA Fitness gym in Lake Worth, Fl.
In the video, Tekashi is hit and kicked repeatedly. One man in the video, at one point, holds 6ix9ine by his head while another man kicks him. The man holding his hair made fun of him as he was hit by another man.
“Mickey mouse ass, clown ass n*gga,” the man said to 6ix9ine.
The “GOOBA” rapper was bloodied after the altercation and the men still continued to insult him even after the assault. 6ix9ine was later hospitalized.
The reason for the assault or if the Brooklyn rapper was released from the hospital has not been confirmed.
In August 2021, 6ix9ine also got into an altercation with a fan. His then-crew assaulted the fan after attempting to fight the rapper.
Twitter Reacts To 6ix9ine’s Assault
Fans on Twitter poked fun at 6ix9ine’s assault. One meme account posted a parody of how the car ride home was for the rapper after getting jumped.
One user posted a video of a schoolyard fight with the caption “how they did 6ix9ine.”
Another tweet used an out-of-context video of NBA superstar LeBron James. In the clip, James says “It’s about damn time.”
6ix9ine has had a reputation as a “snitch” ever since he was released from prison in April 2020 for a RICO charge.
When 6ix9ine was released, he pleaded he was not a snitch due to being “betrayed” by his crew before he was locked up.
Fellow rappers have also shunned him and joked about him, including Queens rapper 50 Cent who posted a meme of him snitching in a courtroom in February 2019.
6ix9ine Trolls Lil Durk After Fan Altercation
In June 2022, 6ix9ine trolled Chicago rapper Lil Durk after a video of Durk was released of him fighting a fan for disrespecting the late Chicago rapper King Von at a concert in the Netherlands.
