Peacock’s Bel-Air is back with season two, and Icy fans can bet on seeing Saweetie grace their TV screens again. The Bay area native has been on a brief hiatus since dropping her EP, The Single Life.
After making her acting debut on Freeform’s Grown-ish, Saweetie is making her long-awaited return to TV. The Icy Queen will appear on Peacock’s Bel-Air season 2 and be a guest starring as herself.
Since opening up about her mental health journey and her messy breakup with former Migos member Quavo, the “My Type” rapper has seemingly been taking it easy and staying out of the public eye. In November 2022, Saweetie surprised fans by dropping her EP, The Single Life.
Fans can also expect to feast their eyes on Claws star Karreuche and Fresh Prince of Bel-Air OG Tatyana Ali, who will also be gracing the series with their colorful presence.
In addition, three actors have been cast for recurring roles. Jazlyn Martin (This is Us), Brooklyn McLinn (Black-ish), and Riele Downs (Darby and the Dead) will all appear on the hit drama series.
