Latto generously donated $35,000 to her former high school in Georgia, in celebration of their recent homecoming. During her visit, she interacted with students, presented a check to the homecoming court, and gifted them with Wingstop.
Lovejoy High School Donation
On October 6, in honor of their homecoming, Latto demonstrated her giving school spirit by donating $35,000 to her former high school, Lovejoy High, in Hampton, GA.
The “Big Energy” artist presented the large check to the current homecoming court and captured a moment with the school’s official cheerleading squad. In addition to the monetary donation, the rapper also treated the students to Wingstop, a brand she has partnered with and has her very own meal on the menu called “The Latto Meal.”
Latto Shows More Love
In a social media post, which has since been deleted, Latto expressed:
“It’s always good to show love to where you came from.”
The rapper’s connection to Lovejoy High School goes beyond financial contributions, as she also made lasting memories with the homecoming queen and the Lovejoy High School football team.
A TikTok video featuring the Grammy-nominated rapper, the homecoming queen, and the Lovejoy Leopards was filmed, with Latto’s latest release, “Issa Party,” setting the scene for the joyous occasion.

Diddy Donates $1 Million
In other philanthropic news, Diddy recently donated $1 million dollars to Jackson State University, a Historically Black College and University (HBCU). The Bad Boy owner made the donation during the MEAC Vs. SWAC challenge that was held at Georgia State University.
