Rap icon Kanye West has reportedly filed a trademark application to put his latest album title DONDA on a range of electronic products, taking a page from Dr. Dre handbook.
Kanye Plots Tech-Takeover
Kanye has made it no secret that the late Apple icon, Steve Jobs, is one of his influences. According to legal trademark documents obtained by TMZ, Kanye is taking tips from Dr. Dre with his pivot into the billion-dollar electronics industry.
Kanye will soon be releasing DONDA branded earbuds, headphones, and headsets as well as speakers, tablets, and sound systems. West is also planning to brand DONDA on wearable devices such as smartwatches, smart glasses, and activity trackers.
Kanye x Gap Fall Hoodies Drop
Ye’s collabo with Gap is still going strong with the drop last week of their newest collaboration — a line of hoodies.
Kanye West is keeping his fans on their toes. The unpredictable rapper surprised fans with an unannounced drop in six color options of the ultra-premium, 100% cotton hoodie, each going for $90. Fans who were able to get an order in before the looks sold out will receive their limited-edition threads in 2-3 weeks.
