Drake has made a surprising announcement regarding his career. With this decision, Drizzy plans to focus on his health and hopes to return to the music scene after an extended break.
Health Comes First
On Oct. 6, Drake announced he would be stepping away from music temporarily during his Sirius XM show. In the midst of his wildly successful It Was All A Blur Tour, the Toronto native has shared that he will be taking a hiatus from music due to health concerns.
On his show Table For One, Drake expressed :
“I probably won’t make music for a little bit. I’m going to be real with you. I need to focus on my health, first and foremost, and I’ll talk about that soon enough. Nothing crazy, but just like, you know, I want people to be healthy in life. I’ve been having the craziest problems for years with my stomach. I’m just saying what it is.”
The chart-topping rapper continued saying:
“So, I need to focus on my health, and I need to get [that] right, and I’m going to that. I have a lot of other things that I would love to focus on. So, I’ma lock the door in the studio for a little bit. I don’t even know what a little bit is. Maybe a year or so, maybe a little longer.”

Fans on social media support Drake’s decision to prioritize his well-being.

With the announcement of his hiatus, questions arise about the remaining dates of the chart-topping rapper’s It Was All A Blur Tour. Before the announcement, six dates were left to be confirmed for the highly anticipated tour.
How these dates will be affected and whether they will be rescheduled or canceled altogether remains unclear. Fans will eagerly await updates regarding the tour status in light of Drake’s health concerns.
