Recent Gun Arrest May Be Turning Point For Boosie
Boosie Badazz may be going good after a recent arrest when he was jailed for a week. In late May 2023, Boosie was arrested for a gun charge in San Diego, California. This led to a viral cry for help from Boosie on his Twitter for a protest against the system.
Boosie Banned On Social Media
Prior to the gun arrest, Boosie was known for his offensive behavior and brash remarks on social media. The rapper had developed a reputation for speaking his mind, even if his remarks were deemed inappropriate.
In October 2022, Boosie was banned from Instagram, claiming Mark Zuckerberg targeted him because of his run-in with the police. The “Wipe Me Down” rapper called out Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook and distributor of Instagram. He tweeted that he believes Instagram deleted his account because “they hate him.”
Then in December 2022, Boosie got into a social media tug-of-war with Gabrielle Union-Wade over an insensitive comment he made about Dwayne Wade and Gabrielle’s transgender daughter, Zaya Wade. Boosie tweeted about his feelings towards Gabrielle Union, claiming her husband, former NBA star Dwyane Wade may be gay and that they are not a “power couple.”
Boosie’s Questionable Parenting
The Louisiana rapper’s questionable parenting was evident in July 2023 when he got into a scrabble with his daughter, Toriana Hatch, over a Benz he bought her as a gift. In 2021, Boosie faced backlash and criticism when he broadcasted himself directing his underage son to “inspect” the genitalia of a woman on his erotic Instagram show, Boosie Gone Bad.
