Social media personality and reality star Amber Rose has taken to her Instagram account to condemn rapper YK Osiris for an alleged incident of sexual assault on rapper and media personality Sukihana. The incident occurred during the Revolt Crew League celebrity basketball tournament, where a video surfaced showing the Jacksonville rapper forcefully kissing Sukihana, causing discomfort and concern among viewers.
During the recent Revolt Crew League, a disturbing video emerged, capturing the moment when YK Osiris approached Sukihana and forcibly kissed her on the face. The incident took place while others around her were laughing, and the “Casamigos” rapper appeared visibly uncomfortable, awkwardly laughing off the situation. Adding to the concern, YK Osiris then walked away, seemingly laughing, and sought validation from another male for his actions.
“Protect Black Women”
Amber Rose took to her Instagram and expressed outrage over the incident, highlighting the need to protect Black women and denouncing any excuse for non-consensual physical contact. The College Hill star wrote:
“Are we really going to sit back and let this happen to Sukihana??? She was sexually assaulted and no one did anything!!! This is the entertainment business and she is an entertainer!!! Using her lyrics and her persona as an excuse to physically touch her and force without her consent is absolutely disgusting. What happened to “protect Black women”??? I cried watching that video and I’m sure a lot of women have as well”
In other recent news that refers to Sukihana’s racy persona, she recently teamed up with rapper NLE Choppa and “Poundtown” rapper Sexxy Red, for a raunchy music video for “SLUT ME OUT.” The three artists faced backlash from fans after it revealed NLE Choppa “dogwalking” the two female artists by their hair.
Sukihana later took to Twitter to express her emotions. She shared,
“I drink to hide that I’m very sensitive. I feel things more than the average person. I stopped drinking yesterday but today I’ve been crying all day. I asked God to strengthen me and use me to help others and to order my steps in his world. I just want to go away for a while”.
Suki tweeted again saying, “I am hurt and I am scared to stand up for myself.” Subsequently, she disabled her Twitter account until further notice.
The video and Sukihana’s reaction sparked outrage on social media, with many users condemning YK Osiris and showing support for Sukihana. Twitter users emphasized that no matter how comfortable a woman is in her sexuality, it is never acceptable for a man to force himself on her without consent.
One user tweeted, “I don’t care how comfortable a woman is in her sexuality, it is never ok for a man to force himself on a woman just because he feels like he can. Suki looked visibly uncomfortable on that stage when YK Osiris stupid ass forced a kiss on her. Pack his dumbass up.”
