Oranj Son have released their new single, ‘ Dream + Lie.’ Rich with slanting psychedelic riffs and soaring harmonies, this track exudes iconic energy. Loaded with, jangling guitars and cyclical electro vibes, this single explores societal delusions and cold hard truths cushioned by a killer melody. ‘Dream + Lie’ is a disco-infused politically-driven pop thumper drawing influence from the likes of Prince, Pet Shop Boys, The Smiths & Air. The song was recorded and produced by Chris Taylor (Rooftop Records) and is released on the band’s own Mao Mao Label.
Hailing from, Ellesmere Port, the band formed in 2015 and have since released a string of singles a debut album, ‘Prison and Paris and Reverberation’ which gained national airplay, featuring on BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio Merseyside.
