Peg Luke is a one-of-a-kind artist whose work has gained much acclaim over the years. A pianist and flutist from a very young age, Luke also began composing music and singing early on, which led to countless performances and concerts around the world as well as Emmy and Grammy nominations. We’re thrilled to present “Almighty, Victorious” as it is a truly powerful single that can inspire and encourage anyone who hears it. The singer’s vocals are simply unparalleled, proclaiming an iconic hymn accompanied by fierce bagpipes music.
“I listened to a great amount of classical music growing up. I was also a big fan of groups like Chicago, The Carpenters, Roberta Flack and so many more. I reflect back and must admit I have incredible admiration for the composer, Aaron Copland. I love his music and his inspiration to his listening audience. I try to use his concepts in my music when I can,” Luke shared about her influences. The artist is preparing to share some more new pieces including one called “I Am Home, Lord”. “This piece was inspired by the idea that we don’t need to be in church to find God. God is with us wherever we are. My heart goes out to all immigrants, refugees and migrants during this time. I hope it will touch my audience as much as it touches me,” Luke said.
