The New Yorker Festival Shares Initial Artist Lineup for 2023 Event

The 2023 New Yorker Festival has released an initial lineup of musicians, comedians, artists and novelists slated for the weekend-long fall event hosted by the magazine’s staffers. Guests Paramore and Japanese Breakfast are set to perform at the conference, in addition to conversations with comedians “Weird Al” Yankovic, Ziwe and Aparna Nancherla.

The festival will take place in the heart of the city at the historic Webster Hall and SVA Theatre. Marking an impressive collection of guests, other announced notables include writers Jhumpa Lahiri and Ling Ma and artist Simone Leigh. 

New Yorker subscribers have access to three-day premier passes for the arts and conversation event today, and general public single-event tickets and passes will go on sale tomorrow Wed. Aug. 2 at 10 a.m. ET. Students and educators are also eligible for discounted prices. More information can be found here.

The full lineup of guests will be released on Sept. 6., a month before the 24th annual weekend commences on Oct. 6-8.
