Today, Sea.Hear.Now shared the list of artists and performers who will join in its return to the surf by North Beach Asbury Park and Bradley Park in Ashbury Park, N.J., on Sept. 16-17, 2023. The beloved event will be headlined by Foo Fighters and The Killers and feature esteemed nationally touring acts like Weezer, Greta Van Fleet, Mt. Joy, Sheryl Crow, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, The Beach Boys and more.
Over the course of the two-day event, there will be 25 musical artists across three stages, along with returning fan-favorite attractions, including The North Beach Rumble surf contest and the art installation Stoke Henge.
The North Beach Rumble surf contest will commence between the Surf and Sand stages, welcoming some of the best surfers from the East Coast competing in a team format. The teams will be captained by professional surfers Cam Richards and Sam Hammer, who will also compete for the most wins in overall style and creativity. Other surfers include Will Skudin, Cassidy McClain, Jamie DeWitt, Rob Kelly and Pat Schmidt.
Sea.Hear.Now’s commitment to community and local art will be located just off the boardwalk. Asbury Park’s own Pork Chop will return with his jellyfish and surfboard arch, Stoke Henge, to serve as the festival’s visual centerpiece. Jay Alders will display of an array of panels that will envelop the ocean side of the boardwalk, with local artists featured on the boardwalk side. Additionally, in Bradley Park, the Transparent Gallery will feature artwork from participating festival musicians along with special pop-up performances
