Today, Baltimore, Md.-based funk/jam quartet Pigeons Playing Ping Pong detailed who will be joining them at their beloved festival, Domefest – set to take place at Legend Valley in Thrornville, Ohio, on May 19 and 20.
As is tradition, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong will perform an array of sets over the event: five across the two evenings, including their special Under Cover set. They’ll also perform and host a pre-party on May 18 at Skully’s in Columbus, Ohio, for Domefest ticket holders.
Acts joining the band during the festival include TAUK, Magic Beans, Joe Hertler and the Rainbow Seekers, Chalk Dinosaur, The North 41, Ernie Johnson From Detroit and more. 2023’s Domefest will also welcome Twiddle, who performed at the event back in 2014. Their appearance will also mark Twiddle’s final show at Legend Valley before they begin their indefinite hiatus in 2024.
The weekend will also see a performance from The Domefest All-Stars, which taps members from different groups of bands set to perform. Notably, last year’s amalgamation of The Domefest All-Stars was included on nugs.net’s list of best guest sit-ins of 2022.
As for newcomers, Domefest 2023 will welcome Columbus’ Barefuzz, Louisville, Ky.’s Houseplant and EDM producer and multi-instrumentalist crypto WAVE radio.
