In collaboration with Live Nation Urban, the Roots have dropped the artist lineup for the 2023 edition of Roots Picnic. The event is slated to take place from June 2 through 4 at Philadelphia’s The Mann in Fairmount Park and will include an impressive roster of talent.
Topping the lineup is Ms. Lauryn Hill, who is billed to celebrate the 25th anniversary of her debut solo album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, which was initially released on Aug. 25, 1998. Also included on the summertime lineup are The Roots, who will co-headline alongside Diddy.
Dave Chappelle has also signed on to perform and will take the stage Friday, June 2, at Wells Fargo Center for a night of comedy. Moreover, the upcoming festival will see sets by Ari Lennox, Syd of The Internet, Glorilla, DJ Drama, Dvsn, Spinall, City Girls and many more.
Ticket pre-sale for the Roots Picnic begins tomorrow, Feb. 21, at noon E.T., using the password: Picnic23.
