After celebrated residencies at Brooklyn Steel in 2021 and 2022, LCD Soundsystem have shared they’ll continue the tradition this year with an expanded update. The “Dance Yrself Clean” outfit’s residency in 2023 will be comprised of 12 shows at three venues across New York City.
The shows will kick off with LCD Soundsystem’s 60th show at Brooklyn Steel on Nov. 16, with three more shows on Nov. 17-19. After closing shop at Brooklyn Steel, they’ll head to Manhattan for performances at Terminal 5 from Nov. 28-Dec. 1. The final residency will see the band head to the Knockdown Center in Queens on Dec. 7-10. Notably, DFA Records, frontman James Murphy’s record label, has celebrated music and community at the Knockdown Center, hosting its 20th-anniversary party at the large open space.
Tickets for all 12 shows will go on sale to the general public beginning Thursday, Oct. 12 at 10:00 a.m. ET.
