Jack White’s Daughter Assists Artist on “The Hardest Button to Button” in Nashville

On Jan. 16, Jack White welcomed his 16-year-old daughter, Scarlet, on stage during a gig at his venue The Blue Room at Third Man Records in Nashville, Tenn. The acclaimed musician and his former spouse, Karen Elson posted footage of the performance on social media, Elson also shared, “What a sweet moment with her papa bear.” See below.

During the midweek show, Scarlett and her father ran through the song “Hardest Button to Button” off The White Stripes’ album Elephant, which the musician will be releasing as a new mono mix vinyl in celebration of the album’s 20th anniversary. Learn more here

This was not the first collaboration between the father-daughter duo. Scarlet is credited for playing bass on the track “Into the Twilight,” from Jack White’s Fear of the Dawn album.
