Guitar icon Eric Clapton has announced a short North American tour slated to begin in September. The impending romp will see the acclaimed musician perform four U.S. shows and one Canadian gig in the coming months.
Clapton’s band for the North American dates will include Doyle Bramhall II, Paul Carrack, Nathan East, Sonny Emory, and Chris Stainton, with Sharon White and Katie Kissoon on backing vocals.
The tour will commence on Sept. 8 at Pittsburgh’s PPG Paints Arena before the lone Great White North date, which will occur at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena on Sept 10. Clapton’s jaunt will continue with a Sept. 12 show at Enterprise Center in St. Louis.
Remaining in the Midwest, the “Wonderful Tonight” singer will pick up a gig at Xcel Energy Center in Minneapolis on Sept. 14, prior to the ensemble’s final tour date, which will happen on Sept. 16 at Ball Arena in Denver.
