On Saturday, September 23, BeachLife Ranch continued at Redondo Beach in Los Angeles County. The coming together boasted an array of talented musician acts in addition to activities aimed at enchanting the entire family. Amongst the artists to take the stage during the second consecutive day of entertainment were Wynonna Judd, The Doobie Brothers, Larkin Poe, Blackberry Smoke and others.
Day two of the event got underway with a frame of music from opener Joe Purdy, who dug into his extensive discography on the Highlands Stage. Just after 1 p.m., The Brother Comatose arrived and cut into their set. Prior to Larkin Poe’s highly anticipated frame, Luke Tyler Shelton and Abby Anderson dug into their festival material. The afternoon stretched on and included acts like Keb’Mo, Blackberry Smoke, and a special Shooter Jennings-led tribute set.
As the afternoon cascaded into the night, Wynonna Judd took her spot on the main stage and ripped into choice material. In total, the set lasted just over an hour. Continuing Saturday’s schedule, The Doobie Brothers turned up for their frame. At the same time, the “Listen to The Music” players were rocking the Highlands stage. The aforementioned performances led up to headliner Cody Jinks hour and a half hour-and-a-half-long set of music, which closed out the day’s events.
On location was photographer Stevo Rood, who shared choice shots from the event.
