On April 8, Katie Got Bandz took to Twitter to announce that she received a celebratory DM from Nicki Minaj. Rapper Asian Doll immediately threw shade at Katie on Twitter. This resulted in multiple clapbacks that even had Coi Leray watching.
Asian Doll threw the first volley saying, “I’m not beefing with nobody Nothing but love coming from da queen of drill have a blessed day 
” and followed up with l “If you was in my dm for YEARS straight asking for a feature SHUT YO BULLDOG ASS UP”
Katie questioned Asian Doll’s bonafides and accused her of copying KashDoll’s name. She said, “FIRST YOU STOLE KASHDOLL NAME NOW YOU THINK YOU COMING FOR THE DRILL QUEEN? DAMN BITCH DO YOU ORIGINATE ANYTHING?”
One KGB fan clapped back at Asian Doll.

Both Katie Got Bandz and Asian Doll have declared themselves the “Queen of Drill”. But Katie Got Bandz has a history that goes way back to Chicago’s drill music scene in 2011, making her reign undisputed.
Most known for hits like “Pop out’ and “Work it girl” as well as her popular “Drillary Clinton” mixtape series, Katie is from Bronzeville, a neighborhood on the southside of Chicago. She cites Waka Flaka Flame, Nicki Minaj, Drake, and Lil Wayne as her musical influences. Prior to rapping, Katie Got Bandz, studied biology and pre-med at Truman college.
