The Kid Laroi is creating his own blueprint to success.
When The Kid Laroi released his 14 with a dream EP nearly 2 years ago, it was obvious that the Sydney songwriter was destined for greatness, it was just a matter of when – and not if – that global recognition would come. It was inevitable.
Fast forward to early 2019, and Laroi signs a deal with Sony US, a landmark moment for not just Laroi and his team but Australia’s Hip-Hop landscape, the global recognition was there and now, that superstar moment was on the kid’s doorstep. It was inevitable.
Now, a little over 12 months on from putting pen to paper, The Kid Laroi has just released his third major label record, cementing himself as one of the worlds most exciting and propitious artists.
‘Addison Rae‘ (co-produced by fellow Australian artist Haan) follows the release of ‘Let Her Go‘ and ‘Diva‘ (featuring Lil Tecca), two songs which have combined for well over 50 million streams online, in addition to nearing 30 million combined views on YouTube, via Lyrical Lemonade.
If those numbers weren’t staggering enough for a 16 year old out of Redfern, ‘Addison Rae’ could very well prove to be the biggest hit of Laroi’s catalog to date. Upon previewing a snippet of the single of TikTok, the platform where 19-year-old online star Addison Rae boasts a cool 26 million followers, fans (existing and new) were demanding the Sydney teen to drop the new record.
Now, with the catchy and colorful new single released on all platforms, The Kid Laroi’s career is taking yet another monumental leap forwards.
The inevitable happened. The Kid Laroi is a superstar.
