Offset responded to a veiled threat made by J. Prince during an interview with the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast. The Migos rapper appeared angry but didn’t address the Houston rap icon by name.
Former Migos member, Offset, lit up his Instagram to address statements that appeared to be a threat by J. Prince. The message was posted around 3 am on Feb 6, just hours after Offset appeared with his wife, Cardi B, at The 65th Annual Grammy Awards.
Offset Speaks
In the 1:00 timestamp of the video, Offset spoke directly into the camera without mentioning the elder J. Prince by name and addressed remarks made by the Houston rap legend during an interview with the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast. In the video, Offset appeared angry and blasted J. Prince as an outsider.
“Y’all speaking on my real brother,” he said.
“How dare you speak on me and Take relationship, I don’t know you from a can of paint, you don’t know how me and my brother rock.”
Offset continued, noting J. Prince has been doing a series of interviews attempting to do damage control against accusations, saying he was directly responsible for the death of his late cousin, Takeoff.
“You trying to clear your face,” Offset said in the video. “This your fifth interview you done did about my brother.”
He then stated for the record that J. Prince never spoke to him directly and that the family – particularly Takeoff’s mom – has never done an interview about the murder.
“You ain’t think about his mama.
You don’t think about the family, We ain’t said nothing. Ain’t nobody said nothing but you.”
J. Prince Threatens Offset
Earlier that same day, J. Prince interviewed with Gillie Da Kid and Wallo267 from the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast. During the interview, J. Prince accused Offset of talking slick and spreading rumors about him. He also intimated that Offset was not there for Takeoff when he was alive.
Additionally, in what appeared to be a threat against Offset’s life, J. Prince warned the Migos rapper, “ Don’t put me in a position where I have to defend myself – that wouldn’t be healthy for you.”
