NBA YoungBoy has continued to make an impact on the music world even while serving a house arrest sentence. The Louisiana rapper will be streaming his album release party for Don’t Try This At Home live from his Utah home.
NBA YoungBoy will be streaming his upcoming release party on April 20th for his album, Don’t Try This At Home from his Utah home while on house arrest. His fans and supporters will celebrate with him live virtually from the Elevate Lounge in downtown Los Angeles.
The “Bestie” rapper was ordered to be on house arrest in October 2021 due to gun charges after the S.W.A.T. team raided his Houston home, where three others close to him were also arrested.
The album release party will be sponsored by 50 Cent’s award-winning champagne brand Branson Cognac, and will also feature a fan raffle where the winner will get to speak to YoungBoy during the stream.
Ahead of his album release, NBA YoungBoy dropped his new single “WTF” featuring Nicki Minaj. Despite being on house arrest, YoungBoy didn’t let that hinder him from filming the music video. The video was filmed separately between the two artists, with YoungBoy filming his scenes from his Utah home and the Queen of Rap recording hers in a dance studio elsewhere.
The “Right Foot Creep” artist has also been working towards turning his life around while on house arrest by joining the Mormon church.
