Michael Parks told the Hollywood Reporter, “The matter has been amicably resolved.”  Netflix has not made a comment.

According to court filings, both sides decided to dismiss the issue. The terms of the deal were not made known.

In 2018, Monique called for a boycott of Netflix after they refused to negotiate a $500,000 offer for a one-hour comedy special that gave the company ownership rights to the show. She accused Netflix of underpaying Black women and allegedly negotiating with other comedians that are paid 26 times more than what she was offered.
