Megan Thee Stallion Gears Up For Return
After taking a hiatus for court dealings involving Tory Lanez, Megan Thee Stallion is preparing for her return to the stage. Recently, Houston’s 97.9 The Box announced the Hottie will be headlining this year’s AT&T Block Party as part of the 2023 NCAA March Madness Music Festival in Houston, TX on Friday, March 31.
The three-day music festival (March 31 – April 2) will occur at Discovery Park in Houston. Meg was last spotted at her surprise birthday party in February after staying low-key during her recent trial against Tory Lanez.
Keke Palmer Teases New Album + Film, Keyshia Cole Biopic In The Works, TLC & Janet Jackson Documentaries Coming Soon
The new mom proves she can multitask as she continues to be booked and busy while enjoying motherhood. Keke Palmer recently dropped a trailer for her upcoming documentary, which she also directed titled, Big Boss.
The award-winning actress took to her Instagram and made the announcement, sharing that the documentary is a “musical narrative that chronicles my experience in the music industry.” Palmer also teased an accompanying album with the same title.
Both projects are expected to officially drop in March 2023.
Keyshia Cole Biopic In The Works + TLC & Janet Jackson Documentaries Coming Soon
Oakland-born singer Keyshia Cole will be making her acting and directorial debut in her upcoming Lifetime biopic titled, Keyshia Cole: This Is My Story. The “Love” singer will be playing herself and the story will follow Cole’s early days to her rise to fame as a multi-platinum-selling artist.
According to Deadline, the biopic is expected to air on Lifetime on Saturday, June 24 as part of the network’s celebration of Black Music Month.
Janet Jackson and revolutionary 90s girl group TLC have highly-anticipated documentaries in the works with Lifetime and A&E. Jackson’s documentary, titled, Janet Jackson: Family First, is a follow-up to her first self-titled documentary. The upcoming doc will chronicle the “Doesn’t Really Matter” singer’s 2023 Together Again Tour and her collaboration with her brother Randy Jackson, reuniting the iconic family band after 40 years since their last performance.
TLC will also be sharing their story in a two-hour special titled, TLC Forever on Saturday, June 3. Fans will not only enjoy the nostalgia but will also get to hear T-Boz and Chilli tell their story for the first time in a feature documentary.
