Maxo Kream Turns Himself In For 2016 RICO Case

Maxo Kream turned himself in to authorities for his 2016 RICO case, where he was arrested for drug charges and money laundering. Kream made the announcement on Instagram before turning himself in.

Houston rapper Maxo Kream, whose real name is Emekwanem Biosah, Jr., turned himself in to the Houston authorities for his 2016 RICO case. 

Kream took to Instagram and shared his mugshot on April 3 with a caption, informing his fans he would serve his time. 

“Been dealing with this Rico s**it since 2016”, Kream wrote.  “I beat all the felony charges but gotta handle sum light s**it. I’ll never bend, break or fold, s/o all my fans ima brb.” 

In Kream’s 2016 RICO case,  along with seven other members of his crew, “Kream Clicc Gang,” was arrested and charged with multiple offenses such as drug trafficking and money laundering in Fort Bend, TX, according to a 2016 CW39 Houston report. 

In October 2016, Kream posted his $200,000 bail and denied any wrongdoing. An official court date has not been set for Kream at this time. 

Other rappers who have been hit with RICO charges are Atlanta rappers Young Thug and Gunna, who were indicted along with other members of Young Stoner Life (YSL) in May of 2022. 

New York rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine was arrested and charged with RICO in November 2018.

Sauce Walka’s Crew The Sauce Factory Hit With RICO Charges

In December 2022, Houston rapper Sauce Walka’s crew, The Sauce Factory were hit with RICO charges for drug trafficking, a “glock switch” and gun possession. Walka was not named in the case, but 14 members of The Sauce Factory were hit with charges.
