Yachty’s Long-Awaited Hiatus
Yachty has kept himself busy during his brief departure from music over the years. The 25-year-old has dipped his toes into almost every facet of the industry, including releasing his own cryptocurrency dubbed YachtyCoin, developing an action-heist movie based on the beloved card game Uno, and launching his very own gender-inclusive nail polish called Crete.
The cover art appears similar to the AI-generated photos that have gone viral and depict a group of figures in what appears to be a political setting. Despite the young mogul’s music leaking, fans were still eager for the official release.
One track released before his announcement, “Holster,” is among the list of songs fans hope to see on the anticipated album. The official Twitter accounts for streaming platform Tidal, and cologne brand Axe was also among those after the announcement stating “Big day for us” and “So hype,”respectively.
Let’s Start Here is set to release on Jan. 27.
