Lil Wayne is the latest rapper to get featured in the NBA’s video game, NBA 2K23. This is one of the latest honors the rap superstar has received for his rap career, which has lasted almost three decades.
Rap legend Lil Wayne has been featured in the classic video game, NBA 2K23. Users can also add him in games to play against NBA players.
In a video shared on his Twitter, the “Lollipop” rapper is shown walking around NBA2K’s studios, while they transform him into a character in the video game’s Crossover Series, which features other celebrities and public figures. During the clip, Wayne is shown as a player on the Los Angeles Lakers.
One other rapper to be featured is Dreamville leader J. Cole, who was the first rapper to get featured on the cover.
Lil Wayne, who previously announced his upcoming tour, has been honored several times recently, most likely for his rap career that started in the mid-1990s.
In December, Lil Wayne received his first-ever RIAA Diamond plaque for his 2008 smash hit “Lollipop” and was honored during Grammy weekend along with Missy Elliott and Dr. Dre with a Global Impact Award by the Recording Academy at the Black Music Collective earlier this month.
J. Cole Drops Unreleased Verse On NBA 2K23
In September 2022, rapper J. Cole released a verse for the NBA’s classic video game, NBA2K23. The “Applying Pressure” rapper dropped the verse in the game’s “My Career” mode.
J. Cole was also the first rapper on the video game’s cover.
