Rapper Conway The Machine recently celebrated the release of his latest album, “Won’t He Do It,” with a party held at the Ludlow House in NYC on May 5, 2023. The event was attended by various celebrities, fellow artists, and fans, including rappers Maino, Consequence, and Westside Gunn, famed hip-hop photo documentarian Johnny Nunes, and film/video director Benny Boom.
During the event, Conway received warm greetings and support from his celebrity friends and fellow rappers. Consequence and Conway shared a moment of mutual love and respect for each other, and Maino approached Conway to express how proud he was of him. Johnny Nunes, who was present to document the occasion, gathered everyone around for pictures.
Westside Gunn, who appears on the track “Brucifix,” joined Conway for a performance that gave Griselda nostalgia as they rapped each other’s lyrics back and forth. Conway’s peers praised him for the dedication and hard work he has put into restoring the feeling of real skills, technique, and artistry to the rap game.
While “God Don’t Make Mistakes” served as Conway’s origin story, it also bridges the next chapter of his already decorated career, which begins with “Won’t He Do It.”
Conway’s release and party follows a lineup of solid album releases this year, including Lil Yachty‘s psychedelic album release party for “Let’s Start Here” at The Liberty Science Center and NBA Youngboy‘s virtual release party live-streamed from his Utah home and simulcasted to friends and supporters at the Elevate Lounge in downtown Los Angeles.
